EVENT: Circle of Sisters Expo

When we got this release this morning, we just had to share it with all of you.  An expo packed with celebs, stars, and amazing women just like you?  It’s a no brainer!  Take a look at the deets below and if you live in the NY area or you plan on being close by, please pull your girls together and show your fabulous face 🙂


New York City, October 28, 2010 – New York’s top-rated R&B station
WBLS 107.5FM and gospel music sister station 1190 WLIB-AM  signature
event, “Circle of Sisters” …New York’s largest expo for women of
color… this Saturday, October 30th and this Sunday, October 31st  at
the Jacob Javits Convention Center is just TWO days away!!!

The “Circle of Sisters Expo is accented by an avalanche of captivating
elements…i.e. The first 50 families to arrive at the Circle of
Sisters exhibition hall both days will be interviewed at 12noon and
4pm by for the nationally syndicated television game show, ” Family
Feud” now hosted by WBLS morning man, Steve Harvey (all five family
members must be present at time of interview and all must be related
by blood, marriage or legal adoption).

Saturday’s  R & B concert with live performances by “American Idol” winner, singer, Broadway-television actress, Fantasia,  Grammy nominee, Eric Benet, singer/songwriter, Donnell Jones, and R & B recording artist, Tank.

Sunday’s 9am worship service with 1190 WLIB Afternoon Personality,
Grammy award winning Bishop Hezekiah Walker,  “NYC largest SAFE TREAT” for kids 12 and under 2pm-5pm with a costume for cash prizes, and the soul stirring Gospel Extravaganza Concert  at 3pm hosted by WBLS’
Morning Man, Steve Harvey with performances by Grammy nominated and
Stellar Award winning, Tye Tribett and contemporary gospel artist,
Deitrick Haddon.

Don’t forget the compelling seminars, fabulous shopping, a fascinating fashion show and scrumptious food tastings.  Also scheduled to appear are reality tv star Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth,  WBLS’ Steve Harvey Morning show co-hosts Carla Ferrell and Nephew Tommy, Grammy award winning, WLIB Morning Personality, Yolanda Adams, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Kandi Burruss, Montell Williams, Rev.
